It’s 2008 and it’s an election year… for the class of 1993.
We don’t have primaries and debates, there is no campaign budget and the closest thing we have to a national convention is our reunion on May 16-18, but the thing is, we’ll be doing our voting then, so we need to throw a few names out there NOW so we have some names on the ballot for May.
Who should your next class officers be? Who do you trust to keep you updated about your class in the Quarterly each season? To motivate us to make our annual gift to the college? And to plan a rockin’ 20th reunion in five years?
I’ll get us started.
I think Sarah Nagle Null would make a great class secretary—she will make you laugh while keeping you up-to-date in the Quarterly for the next five years, I guarantee it. (And just because she has twins and is about to start nursing school? Don’t let her hide behind THAT tired old excuse.) I also think Rebecca Fisher would make an awesome class secretary–maybe they could split the job.
And what about getting some MALE representation on our slate of officers? We were the second co-ed class, you remember. Chris Harris? Garrick Gelinas? Ron Corning? Kyle Waters? Dylan Jones? Bob Pellecchia? Doug Lepuc? Brian O’Toole? Spencer Zawasky? We know you’re out there.
And what about putting our husband and wife teams to work? Jamie and Stacey MacFarlane? Or Erin & Michael Weisberg who reconnected at a reunion, wouldn’t THEY be great as class officers? I’m just saying.

Sue et. al, I am afraid I will no longer be able to make it to this month’s reunion. I am afraid the airline our flight was on went belly-up in April. I am hoping to get the Gentlemen Callers together for the 20th Reunion of our group some time this fall. GC’s, what do you think? I hope everyone has a great time during Reunion Weekend.
